Gen Ed Reform: How to Leverage Assessment Thinking Early and Often (Week 4/4)
In this 4-week course, participants will be guided through the stages and steps of general education reform, from call-to-action to implementation to sustained engagement and everything in-between. At each stage, facilitators will give a brief overview of the reform stage, provide real examples of what each stage might look like on a campus, and discuss how we can apply ‘assessment thinking’ throughout the process. In each stage, participants will complete an activity to put the ideas into practice. The course will be reflective, interactive, and practical to ensure every participant leaves with useful insights and tools in hand… so when the call goes out to reform general education at your institution, you’ll be ready!
